A complete guide to find out your Windows activation key

If you happen to swim in Windows registration codes and being organised is not your strenght, you might find yourself in a situation where you have no clue which office computer has the missing key from your list. Or maybe you did not want to download a third party software to display it on the screen and the Youtube videos were mostly suspicious.
Thank god there is a way to do this. All you need is some copy paste, notepad and a doubleclick. Instructions below.
The guide to show your windows key
Step one:
Open notepad and copy paste the following text:

Step two
As you have the pile of text in the notepad, save the file as key.vbs. Make sure the format is not .txt or this will not work.
Step three
Now that the code file is saved, all we need to do is to double click it. Cheers.
What is the .vbs file?
The .vbs is a Visual Basic Script language file format, developed by Microsoft. It is highly recommended to actually read the code before executing it as it allows system administrators to generate powerful tools for managing computers - and wrong use in wrong hands is never good for the unaware.
Do not download random third party software to your computer. Doing so will result an indian tech support appearing on your desktop.
